 We are at that stage of the year where we're not sure whether to haul out the old Christmas tree and decorations yet, or to rather wait until it becomes painfully necessary. One aspect you shouldn't leave to chance, are your Christmas photos. Yes, Christmas Photos with Ashleigh Rose Photography has definitely become a thing. In fact we've had clients coming to Ashleigh Rose Photography for their annual Christmas shoot, since our inception in 2012. Christmas photos in our studio were very well received this year, so much so that we had to turn some people away due to our limited number of bookings.  This year was a woody snowfield theme and it's always lovely to see how each client interprets the offering for their family.  Thanks to everyone who had their Christmas photos taken with us.  It was such a pleasure.

This is the third year in a row, we have taken Christmas photos of this lovely family.  On this day however, the weather wasn't working in our favour and so we decided to set-up a little Christmas photobooth at the family home.  Leana has the most amazing Christmas decorations, and was kind enough to let us use some as props.  Maybe not such a great plan in hindsight as the snow globe broke and the reindeer fell over and lost an antler, but it was as always a fun and laughter-filled shoot.  Thanks Leana and family for calling on us again.  Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

This was an extra-special shoot for me!  My sister decided to treat her hubby and inlaws to a family photoshoot.  Everyone was a little hesitant which is normal, but once they had their groove on, everyone was in their element!  More pics were taken, but I'm just putting up some of the Christmas pics we quickly snuck in at the beginning.  Thanks Richelle for dragging everyone into the studio.  It was such fun.  Enjoy!!

Arwen is one of our regulars, but on this particular day she wasn't much in the mood for some Christmas pics.  We got some of her with mom and dad, but decided to try again another day.  It was suggested at our next meet up, that perhaps the studio lights did not agree with our little cherub, so I tried something I hadn't attempted before - continuous lighting.  Quite a nice effect I must say, and Arwen seemed happier :)  Thanks Stephanie, Arwen and Lloyd for coming through to the studio.  Have a Blessed Christmas and New Year xxx
