George's Christening & Reception

Greek Orthodox Christenings were something we really missed capturing during the lockdowns. It's always such a special occasion and even after having photographed as many as we have, they are all so unique. Especially the way in which each child responds to being dipped in the baptismal font.
 
This occasion found us at the Hellenic Orthodox Church Of The Virgin Mary where baby George was an absolute superstar. He moaned a little at the discomfort of being dunked into the water, but was right as rain, very shortly afterwards. 
 
The reception was held at the Inanda Club and the theme was Peter Rabbit. Too beautiful. This little guy had many fans and admirers in his camp, and with those curls and big eyes, it's easy to see why.
