We photographed Sienna's 10th 'Pancake and Pjyama' Party the other day, and what fun it turned out to be. The chilly afternoon started off with everyone making their own tie dye tops, and after that was done, there were some old fashioned party games that are still classics for a reason. After the umpteenth round of musical statues which saw the girls showing off their dance and gymnastic moves, they headed upstairs to the dreamy looking setup of teepees and fluffy cushions. Each girl was gifted with her own set of pyjamas, personalised coffee mug and hair band. You can only imagine the excitement that ensued. Thanks Sarah for calling on us to photograph another of your girls beautiful parties. It's always so wonderful spending time with you all.

Equestrian Matric Dance Photoshoot | Matric Dance Photographer

I am always nervous when incorporating something new into a photoshoot, and this particular instance was no different.  I was asked if I'd do some pre-matric dance photos for a beautiful young lady the other day.  Now that wasn't the difficult part.  The part that worried me a little, was that we'd be including two horses!  I love horses and think they are majestic creatures, but I've have never had the privilege of photographing one, so the stakes were high.  Fortunately our lovely lass handled the setting like a pro, and her equine pals Ronnie and Impi were perfect gentlemen.  All-in-all an absolutely stunning photoshoot which will definitely go down as one of my favourites :)
