Ruben has grown into such a cutie pie. We photographed him getting all dressed up for his big occasion, and then followed his family to the church where we captured the beautiful ceremony. Coincidentally the church turned out to be the same one where we photographed our first christening years back. It was amazing to come full circle, and to see the same Father in attendance. Afterwards we headed to the clubhouse for the reception. The decor and setup was lovely in the baby blue colour. Towards the end of the day, Ruben donned a Mickey Mouse outfit to compliment his Mickey mouse themed party decor. However he didn’t really seem to like the hat as you will see in the pics. Shame, but he did look so cute and gave us all a good giggle. His big brother Rodrigo and their cousin, then did a real cake smash, and literally hit the cake until it broke. Haha. What fun. Equestrian Matric Dance Photoshoot | Matric Dance Photographer

I am always nervous when incorporating something new into a photoshoot, and this particular instance was no different.  I was asked if I'd do some pre-matric dance photos for a beautiful young lady the other day.  Now that wasn't the difficult part.  The part that worried me a little, was that we'd be including two horses!  I love horses and think they are majestic creatures, but I've have never had the privilege of photographing one, so the stakes were high.  Fortunately our lovely lass handled the setting like a pro, and her equine pals Ronnie and Impi were perfect gentlemen.  All-in-all an absolutely stunning photoshoot which will definitely go down as one of my favourites :)
