Dimitri and his little brother had a combined Birthday party at their club house the other day.  Dimitri is seriously into his dragon's so he got a 'How to train your dragon' themed party, while little Christo had a 'Planes' themed party, and donned the most adorable pilot's shirt.  Both boys had oodles of fun with their friends, and on a hot and sunny day, what is more fun than splashing around in the pool.  I must say for us as the photographers, it is always so nice to see so many familiar faces.  It really helps when you're trying to figure out who's who for the family shots that we so love capturing.  Leana thank you so much for once again entrusting us with job of photographing another of your special moments.  They're always such fun! Equestrian Matric Dance Photoshoot | Matric Dance Photographer

I am always nervous when incorporating something new into a photoshoot, and this particular instance was no different.  I was asked if I'd do some pre-matric dance photos for a beautiful young lady the other day.  Now that wasn't the difficult part.  The part that worried me a little, was that we'd be including two horses!  I love horses and think they are majestic creatures, but I've have never had the privilege of photographing one, so the stakes were high.  Fortunately our lovely lass handled the setting like a pro, and her equine pals Ronnie and Impi were perfect gentlemen.  All-in-all an absolutely stunning photoshoot which will definitely go down as one of my favourites :)
