Wedding - Second Shooter | Wedding Photographer Sandton

I was asked by a friend to second shoot a wedding for her the other day, and I'm so thrilled she did.  The decor, setting and general ambiance of the day was right up my alley.  It was all so beautiful and capturing the beauty on my camera was an absolute thrill.

Weddings are such joyous occasions and mark an important milestone in the relationship of two people who have committed their lives to each other.  It doesn't get more important than that.

Sadly many people scrimp on photographers when it comes to this important yet often, expensive day, and tend to go with a photographer that seems to be, on the surface at least, too good to be true.  Unfortunately this is not one of those times you want to take a chance on the photographer you choose.  You only get one chance at this, so make sure you leave your images in the capable hands of a photographer that knows what they are doing.  The equipment they use, their manner, their portfolio will all tell you a lot about the way they work.  Using a friend or family member or a photographer that was referred to you by a friend of a friend, is not the best way to go about scouting for a possible photographer.  You yourself, need to choose a photographer whose work echoes the look and feel you're going for on your day.

At the end of the day, when the celebration is over, your photos are more than likely going to be the only tangible memories of that day - so make sure you choose wisely.
