Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing lovely Kimaya's Birthday party proceedings.  And what a fun day it turned out to be.  The venue was ideal for little ones, with trampolines, jumping castles and a pirate ship jungle gym.  I must add that all these 'props' made for some beautiful pictures too.  Nothing more stunning than a child at play and being able to capture that look of sheer bliss as they play 'till their hearts content.

Kimaya was an absolute pleasure and smiled so beautifully for the camera.  What a lovely little girl with such a supportive and loving mum, dad and brother.  Happy Birthday Kimaya.  Lots of love, happiness and pixie dust for you xxx

Equestrian Matric Dance Photoshoot | Matric Dance Photographer

I am always nervous when incorporating something new into a photoshoot, and this particular instance was no different.  I was asked if I'd do some pre-matric dance photos for a beautiful young lady the other day.  Now that wasn't the difficult part.  The part that worried me a little, was that we'd be including two horses!  I love horses and think they are majestic creatures, but I've have never had the privilege of photographing one, so the stakes were high.  Fortunately our lovely lass handled the setting like a pro, and her equine pals Ronnie and Impi were perfect gentlemen.  All-in-all an absolutely stunning photoshoot which will definitely go down as one of my favourites :)
