Strobist Workshop | Fashion Photographer Sandton
Sunday found me in Walkerville with some of the folks from the Camerastuff team for a strobist workshop. Now up until then, I'd been quite satisfied with my speedlite flash attached to my camera, but after this course my eyes were opened up to a whole other world. My goodness, I don't think I'll ever be satisfied with just an ordinary flash again!
So armed with soft boxes and beauty dishes we headed off to a farm with beautiful dry grass and the most stunning old dilapidated house I've ever had the fortune of shooting in. And with three stunning models at our disposal, it was a wonderful experience!
I'm still getting a hang of it, as my transmitters gave me a bit of grief, but it's all part of the learning curve and at least I managed a few successful photos from that session. Here are just a few. Still editing my way through them all, and having so much fun. Nothing better than a great pic which with only a few enhancements and corrections makes one feel really satisfied :)
